Business Tax Reform

During the past several months at the direction of the Mayor and President Chiu, the Controller has organized a number of meetings and workshops designed to get feedback from various industries on reforming the City’s business tax structure.

On July 31, 2012 the Board of Supervisors voted unanimously to place a consensus business tax reform proposal on the November 2012 ballot.
