TOURISM IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

The Tourism Improvement District (TID) was established in 2008 as a business-based hotel assessment district, representing approximately 350 hotels city-wide. The TID focuses on strengthening the local tourism hotel industry through hotel-specific marketing and promotional activities through the San Francisco Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and by renovating and expanding the City’s Moscone Center convention facilities.
