Sector Academy Training Program

In alignment with the Office of Economic and Workforce Development’s Strategic Goals to improve the responsiveness of the workforce system, meet the demands of sustainable and growing industries, provide employers with skilled workers and expand employment opportunities for San Francisco residents we are launching several Sector Academies that integrate skill development, support services, and job development that prepare and place low-to-high skilled individuals in a range of jobs within targeted industries.

CityBuild Construction Academy

The CityBuild Construction Academy is an intensive pre-apprenticeship program that prepares motivated men and women for rewarding careers in the construction trades.

Health Care Academy

The Health Care Academy offers training in Clerical, Entry-Level Clinical & Licensed Clinical in order to prepare San Francisco’s residents for entry into dynamic careers in the Health Care Industry.

TrainGreenSF

TrainGreenSF is San Francisco's Green Collar Jobs training academy.  TrainGreenSF will train and place participants in a broad range of green jobs including recycling, green transportation, energy efficiency, and solar among others.
