Chhavi Sahni

Chhavi Sahni WISF Board Member

Chhavi Sahni is the Membership and Education Program Manager at the Golden Gate Restaurant Association. She focuses on the needs of the restaurant members including educational classes, political advocacy, and building community partnerships in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Prior to joining the GGRA, Chhavi entered the non-profit world as a Special Projects Manager for the International Ocean Film Festival. She brings a financial background from her years at Gap Inc where she worked in Inventory Management as a Planner and later as Learning and Development Project Manager. 

Ramon Hernandez

Ramon Hernandez

Member of LiUNA Local #261 since 1981. Ramon worked as a Laborer with Swinerton & Walberg, Cahill and Dome Construction Companies. In August of 2009, after serving several terms on the Executive Board, Ramon was unanimously elected to succeed Oscar De La Torre as Business Manager. Local 261, which represents San Francisco, San Mateo and Marin County, has continued the standard of hard work and Union pride for 5,000 plus Laborers in both private and public sectors under his leadership.

Charlie Hale

Charlie Hale

Charlie Hale is the Head of Global Public Policy and Community Partnerships at Pinterest. Prior to Pinterest he was at Google where he managed public policy for Google[x], which included the self-driving car project, Project Loon, Project Wing and other initiatives. He also managed geopolitical policy for Google Maps, Earth and Streetview, as well as Google’s Access division. Previously, Charlie worked for the State Department in Washington DC and Egypt. He is a co-founder of the Global Health Corps, a nonprofit operating in East Africa and the United States.

Paul Giusti

Paul Giusti

Paul Giusti was born in San Francisco’s Cow Hollow neighborhood. Today, Paul and his wife, also a native San Franciscan, live in the Diamond Heights neighborhood of San Francisco.

For the last 39 years Paul has worked in almost every facet of Recology Operations serving as Route Dispatcher, Customer Service Manager, Chief Operations Manager, and Business Unit Manager. 

John Doherty

John Doherty

Born and raised in San Francisco, John is a first generation Irish-American and holds a sociology degree from UC Santa Barbara. His career in the electrical industry began in October of 1998. Since that time he has been an active member of his local, and has served the membership as a teacher at the Apprenticeship School, as a Business Representative, as President, and currently Business Manager-Financial Secretary of IBEW Local 6. He serves as a Trustee for Local 6’s Apprenticeship Committee, its Health and Welfare Plan, and its Pension Plan.

Ximena A. Delgado is a Senior Vice President and Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) Program Manager in the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. She manages the Foundation’s Asset Building, Native American, and Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) portfolios at a national level. She engages in issues relating to community development, neighborhood preservation, community revitalization, economic mobility and D&I.

Jeanine Cotter

Jeanine co-founded Luminalt to bring clean, reliable, local power to cities and create quality jobs for residents. One of few women CEOs in solar, and one of fewer still who holds the company’s contractors license, she is widely considered an industry expert.  Jeanine is on several national and local committees focused on establishing solar industry standards, renewable energy advocacy, creation of inner city jobs, small business and sustainable business practices.
