Currently, there are 16 property based and 2 sector based Community Benefit Districts (CBDs) within San Francisco. These districts vary in terms of the services they provide their neighborhoods and their annual budgets. Each CBD within the City is headed by an executive director, who is hired by the CBD Board of Directors.
