Participate in the 2024 SF Live Outdoor Concert Series

Music and entertainment venues could apply to participate in the 2024 SF Live Outdoor Concert Series. Applications are no longer open.

What to do

The SF Live 2024 season

San Francisco music and entertainment venues are invited to apply to present outdoor concerts as a part of the SF Live 2024 season. If your venue is selected to participate in this series, you will be matched with one of our production partners (Illuminate, SF Parks Alliance/Noise Pop, or Union Square Alliance) to curate a lineup of performers at an SF Live-branded outdoor concert in 2024. The production of the event, including all required permitting, equipment, and expenses, will be funded by SF Live and overseen by our production partners.

In exchange for curating the lineup of performers with our production team and being a named presenter of the event, your venue will receive a stipend of up to $3,000. This stipend is in addition to the talent budget that will be provided through SF Live to hire performers for the event.

Eligibility

To qualify for this initiative, your music venue must:

  1. Currently hold a Place of Entertainment permit from the Entertainment Commission; and
  2. Demonstrate a track record of offering frequent, year-round live entertainment programming.

Priority to participate will be given to music venues that:

  1. received funding through the City’s Venue Fund (see a list of Venue Fund awardees);
  2. showcase styles of live music not otherwise represented in this program;
  3. demonstrate a track record of hiring musicians of color who reflect the diverse cultural interests of San Francisco’s communities; and
  4. add to the geographic diversity of music venues across San Francisco participating in this program.
